How long will the 129 position last?

I have been with Dish Network awhile since the days of the 119 main programming spot. Then I had to get a 61.5 dish to see NASA. Next up was a dish to see 110 programming (before Dish 500 was available). Along came a local station on the 148 satellite. I wired the pole for HD at the 105 position but 105 HD was cancelled.

Now HD is going to the 129 slot. I am down to 61.5/110/119. From reading the posts here I am reading a Dish 1000 is needed. I would like to keep the 61.5 satellite position. So I guess I now need a DP44 switch and Dish 1000. But before I invest in the equipment to see the 129 slot my question is simple...will Dish Network stick with 129 or will I need to add another dish in the future? Should I plan for more future slots or do you think this is the last of the satellite position Dish Network will acquire? Thanks

you dont need a dish 1000 if you are getting 61.5. the channels will be mirrored on 129 and 61.5.
