I didn't see a poll to vote in, but I use a 9.1 Yamaha and prefer DTS over DD by a wide margin. Too bad DBS and cable have failed to licence this superior sound.

Aww If u have 6.1 or 7.1 or 8.1 Audio system. then vote that u have one,

I put 5.1 cause 6.1 7.1 8.1 is backwards compatiable with each other

Give me more DVD's with DTS and I'd be extremely happy. DD 5.1 (6.1, 7.1, etc) are fine, but DTS is simply astounding.

but only have one rear speaker hooked up, with the all of the others rest hooked up
can't find a way to hide the speaker wire from that one rear speaker

I was wondering how and if u can u tell what kind of audio system it is,

can u tell by how many speakers it has, or is its something in the encoder that tells u it ?

AND BTW If someone voted, Why he needs a Dolby Digital Audio,
Should re-think, his, or her decision, cause we are seeing lots of DD 5.1 Audio material out now.
its the best time to get a DD 5.1 System.

Sony 5.1 surround sound system. Does both DD and DTS.

7.1 Pioneer-driven... does DD and DTS. I prefer DTS.

If you can't tell the difference, try watching Saving Private Ryan in both versions. DTS sounds much better.

Have 6.1 system. I up-convert most sound to all 6 speakers, would like to see "real" 6.1 on DVD's, HD satellite/Cable.

Onkyo 702, w/ Polk audio monitor 70 and surround monitor 40 w center cc2 it kicks but, especially after I got a sound meter and tuned it, which is a whole lot better than the setup mic it comes with.
