I don't ever use video on demand and would like to know how I can disable it, so that I may use the space on the hard disk for my preferred programs, not Dish's PPV VOD service.

Is there a way to disable it?

no way to disable, it uses reserved space anyway. your 100 hours would not increase.

Correct. No way. You will just have to ignore it. Pretend it doesn't exist.

It always says I didn't leave my receiver off long enough to get a movie anyways I don't even know why they even have it there. I have never bought a movie. I watched a free TV show one time. That was it.
