how to determine which satellite you are watching

I know this has been discussed before, but how do you determine which satellite you are on when viewing a channel?

If you're using the newer operating system or CUI like on a Hopper, Joey or Wally you press Info then Recall.

And if you want to know which transponder the channel is using, go to the point dish screen after tuning to the channel.

EDIT: I assume that still works with the Hopper

Info twice no longer works for sat number, second click reverts to program.

I liked better when they had the little reflector logo and the sat numerical degree position on the INFO page. That made it easy.

I see that this morning the info plus recall shows the sat, didn't work yesterday.

It only works on Live TV.

That makes sense, since that's the only time you're getting a satellite signal.
