Hey all,

If you read my other post about mounting the dish to a tree, the general consensus is that this is NOT a good idea - so I am sure that my only other alternative would be to have a tripod or pole in a bucket of concrete, put the dish inside there, and hope that can point the dish towards a line of site.

So how do people usually go about this? I take it I will have to get everything before the installer comes. Should I have the buckett and cement already laid as well? I've never played with cement or done anything like this - so can anyone please help me with advice on the size of a buckett, how much cement, and what size tripod or pole - how far it needs to stick up, etc. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, I have to get Dish!!!!

Thanks everyone

personally i would call the installer and ask him, different installers may be willing to do different things for you, he may be able to just drive the pole into the ground if thats aight with the landlord,
