How To Measure Actuator Arm?

can someone tell me how to measure a actuator arm ? cause mine has went out and i dont know where to start measuring at

He has a 7.5' Unimesh cband antenna if this helps anybody. I was suggesting he measured the main outter tube and subract 6 inches. (do not include the motor or inner shaft) does this sound right? Think he can get by with an 18 inch actuator? or is he 24"

The "main outer tube" on my 18" actuator is about 22 3/8".
An 18" actuator should work ok (have a 6' Unimesh w/18" actuator).

The outer tube of my 24 inch mover measures in at 31.5 inches. If you would call one of the suppliers that support this site they would probably tell you and give you a good price on a new one.
