Is it possible to split the TV2 signal for viewing in multiple rooms? I have VIP 722.

I have not tried this but wonder if an OTA transmitter would work if I amplified the output signal for TV2 and received it at two seperate tvs?????

Any other way to get TV2 on two tv's?

Sure, you can run the TV2 output to multiple TV's. I have mine running to 3 sets. depending on the length of your runs and the quality of your splitter, you might be able to do it without an applifier - but I do use an applified splitter.

If your second TVs have digital tuners for over the air, and you have a roof antenna, you can even diplex the signal from the antenna with the signal from the 722, giving your secondary sets the option of viewing the TV2 output or Over The Air TV. (If I recall correctly, I bought my diplexer online from Stark Electronics.)

Just reread you post - I guess you are also asking if there is a way to send the signal over-the-air to the secondary TVs without running coax from the 722 to TV's 2 and 3. I'm not sure there is any good way to do this. I have experimented with wireless TV transmitters in the past, and found them to be pretty unreliable (people walking in the room interupted the signal). Perhaps they have improved - I haven'd tried anything like that lately.

Tell me more about the OTA receiver in my TV. I don't know a whole lot about Dish and how to split signals. If there is an easier way than purchasing a $150 OTA transmitter and receivers, I wouid love to do it.

All of my cables for every room enter the house at the same place so access to the cable for each room is easy at one central point.

Splitting option:
Could I split the signal where the diplexer feeds TV2 outside where all the cables are and send signal to two TV'S and amplify them at the TV or amplify before sending to multiple TV's?

YES. And you very likely won't need to amplify them. Just put a splitter on the coax from the TV2 output. Use a short length of coax from the output to the splitter then hook up the lines/coax to the 2 TVs.
