Hr10-250 problem

We recently moved the Hughes box into my room from the living room and now it gives me an error message saying it cant find the Sat 2 signal. Called D and they had a guy come out and check the lines and he said they were perfect. He said there were problems with this box not picking up the seceond Line once you moved it to another room and I would have to get it replaced from the manufacturer. Does this sound right? I have bee nsearching the forums and cant find anything on this.
 
If you switch lines "change the line from 1 to 2 and 2 to 1" do you get the same results? Also how many recievers do you have and what type of dish and switch do you have? If it works fine in one room and in the other does not work it is not in the box. Are the two lines running into your room connected to the switch.

Also did you pay the installer anything, because if so he should be fired.
