hr20 recording issues

Since the last software revision was pushed 2 days ago, when I try to fast forward or rewind a recorded program, the video stays black or skips the same fram over and over. There is no way to go past commercials. Anyone else seeing this?

Yes, it is a known issue with the latest build.

The only work around is to use 30s slip or regular playback speed.

DirecTV is working on the next release, that will correct the issue.

Only happens to me on some of my shows, not all, and not all the time, only seems to get stuck on some of the breaks about half way through, usually if I let that commercial or tv show promo finish wherever it got stuck, usually about halfway thru or towards the end, it'l FF again like normal.

Thanks for the info the on the 30s slip!! I thought I had to watch all my recorded shows without forwarding since I couldn't forward through commercials. My HR20 worked great when I first got it, but each software update makes me sad.
