Hughes dvr remotes

I currently have a SD Huges DVR Tivo. I am waiting for the arrival of a new Huges HR-250. I plan to use both of these units in close proximity. Just wondering if the remotes are going to control both units at the same time and if so is there a way to prevent this.

Yes, no problem. I have 7 TiVos in the same room without conflict.

Biggest instruction to follow here is the last line
To prevent confusion between the two remote addresses, do not leave either DVR on the System Information screen.
I wasted about 40 minutes, as I didn't notice this, so please learn from my experience.
Also, if you are using a universal remote, chances are you won't find codes that accomodate changing the remote IDs, best to use a learning remote that you 'train' after setting the IDs properly.
