I'm ready for some more HD channels (greedy, aren't I?) :hungry: I've seen items in the guide for the SciFi channel indicating that shows are available in HD, but haven't heard of any provider with SciFi HD. Has anyone else? And I'm still holding on to hope that some day we'll see some of the Voom programming on Fios...

sbh,

There is no SciFi HD channel. SciFi HD is probably about a year off.

The reason you see items in the guide listed as "available in HD" is because a number of those programs are shown in HD on different channels. Some SciFi programs are shown in HDTV on Hdnet, while others like Battlestar Galactica are shown in HDTV on the Universal HD channel. Both of these channels are on FiOS. Note these re-airings in HDTV come weeks to months after they premiere on SciFi.

Some of the programs are also available in high-def on a Canadian HD channel that is not available to U.S. residents.
