If you thought the 921 was bad look at this one

This is Cables HD DRV.

I thought about going to Digital cable with there new Dual Tuner HD DVR.


It has many more bugs than the 921. It misses recordings, you have to tune to the channel you want to record before it records HD, and Guide data is lost, along with many more.

And just like the 921 there are others that like the 6412 and have had no problems with it. A issue with the 6412 is that the cable companies can load different versions of the software which means that COX's 6412's could be a POS while the Comcast 6412's work great.

Yep, I have the 6412 (and the 6408 ) from Comcast for a month now and it works great, I can record one show on it while watching another all at the same time, never has broken down, re-booted or anything.
It all depends on who the cable company is and where, some areas are great/good, some are plan awful.
