Im a newbie... and i suck bad. Help!

Ok, i just got a Pantec 2500 Ultra. I have a standard Direct TV 18 inch fixed dish. I would like to know how to get this thing to work, i am lost. Ive only set up direct tv before. I would like to know how to point and recieve the legal channels from dishnet. I live in windsor, ontario, n9g2z2. Any help would be appreciated, cause after an hour of playing with the thing, i have to idea what to do. thnx.

I would like to know how to point and recieve the legal channels from dishnet.

If by "dishnet" you mean Dish Network, the only channels available to FTA receivers from Dishnetwork DBS are the barker channels and the Muzak channels. I think the rest require a subscribed dish box. KBS World is FTA but that requires a different dish and LNB. Sorry. Others here may have a better idea of what other channels are actually FTA.
