Does VOOM or Installs inc. require Installs Inc. installers or sub-contractors to be licensed or accredited?

does it matter what type of coax cable is used on there install?

Metro Tec

Not here in Texas & it shows they want 50% of the Tec. custom work.
I know A non SBCA Tec work for Metro Tec here and they used him for A few week's untill thry got caught up. Now they have all those service call's.
I wish they would use SBCA Tec's and pay on time.
I paid my 200 to get my SBCA paper's and will not let the middle man take 50% of my custom work seem's the Metro Tec men want you to work for free.
I wish they would do A few Attic crawl's when it is 100 in the shade.

First of all they are suppose to SBCA certified to work there! Problem is no one ever check to make sure everyone is.

Yes they are suppose to use rg 6 cable on all Satellite installed.

What is included in Voom "free" Install and what is considered custom work??

Mr .C

Free install includes mounting dish to you home grounding to NEC standards
running up to 4 -125 ft of RG-6 cable Running a phone line if you don't have on within 25ft without crossing a doorway.

Custom is putting on a pole, run cable thought walls, and so company if they run though attics and crawl spaces do charge , put on tripod .

bottom line is the dish need to a close to you electric supply so they can get a proper ground.
