I found a used 10 ft mesh dish for $25.(very fine mesh) It has a motor but I haven't tested it yet. The base(where the motor is connected) has rust on it. I will have to sand the spots down and repaint. I thought about just painting the whole thing but would that effect the reception? This is going to be my summer project. I still have to get a pole, a feed horn (C, KU), and reciever. I sure hope I can make this work. Very little experiance in this area. I'm so gald I found this forum, seems to be a great deal of knowledge here.

You might drive around and look for yards with BUD's. If you are lucky, you might just catch an owner that will GIVE you the whole setup if you haul it away. You will then have extra parts and end up with an awesome Free-to-air C-band system for nearly nothing invested!
