I have a Kenwood Sirius reciever connected to my Kenwood KDC X769 head unit. I have had over the past few months 3 occasions where it stopped working, said antenna error on the display and when I checked the Sirius unit it's cooling fan was off.

After a few reboots it came back on, well today it died and won't come back. I am 700 miles into Mexico (where btw it works) and am going to be driving to Laredo 700 miles away where I have already ordered a new unit but I very much would rather not have to drive 700 miles without Sirius now that I am used to not changing disks.

Any help would seriously be appreciated.

Sorry for reposting but I tried to delete the thread in the other seemingly wrong section. Please delete the thread that is in the incorrect area if needed.

Thanks

Anyone have any idea where I might find information? I called Kenwood Tech support, they suggested running it it's own power. I did that as well as tried connecting it directly to the Head Unit instead of through the changer, same thing. Cooling fan spins for 3 seconds then stops and I get Antenna Error. :(

I really don't want to drive 700 miles without it.
