Kobe Bryant demands trade

Still think they need a point guard. Not a Garnett or O'Neil. I still say trade Kobe for Kidd and Vince Carter straight up.

I believe Kobe has no-trade clause that he'd have to waive, tho... do you really think he'd want to go to a NJ team sans Kidd and VC?

I have to think all his trade talk was a calculated ploy to get the Lakers front office stirred up... I don't think he's going anywhere.

O'Neil was soft in Indiana and he'd be soft with the Lakers. Not a good mix in my eyes. What the lakers need is a good point guard, someone who can feed the ball to Kobe as well as shoot. Someone like Jason Kidd. I still say trade Kobe for Kidd and Vince Carter straight up.
