LG Combo Player not delivering everthing?

I thought that starting another thread would best serve this information.

Fully functioning BluRay interactivity while NO HD-DVD interactivity is not the best news for the HD-DVD crowd. If anything, someone buying this player will wonder why all the fuss about HD-DVD. Maybe this combo thing is not such a good idea?

sounds like a cheap combo. I wouldn't buy it for $1200 if it cannot deliver the features of both. I am still on the other side of the fence when it comes to HD DVD or Blue Ray. I am not willing to invest in any of them until a clear winner is out or a combination that will have cover both equally.

There are no facts behind this link. It links to another blog making claims, but all they reference is the original press release. What facts to they have the HDi (no longer called iHD) is not supported?

But the bottom line is that if it doesn't support HDi, then it is not an HD DVD player.
