Yes, I know I am shouting but I am getting really fed up with this.

I have a new android phone. I cannot deactivate the software on the old phone because the link within the app software does not work - it just says 'Server error'. I bought the app direct before it was added to the google store so cannot do it there.

I am losing count of the number of emails I have sent to the laughingly named 'support' email address without response.

Given this abysmal level of customer care I am certainly not buying the app again.

Help!!

It's quite obvious to everybody now that this is "abandonware" and has been orphaned. Nobody has supported this for many months now, and it appears that the developer guy just walked away from it.

There are many free versions that work just as well, maybe even better. In fact, that's probably why this one was abandoned.

https://play.google.com/store/search?q=satellite finder&c=apps&hl=en <<<< take your pick.

Below is three that I've used:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.agi.android.augmentedreality&hl=en

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.norsat.SatelliteLocator&hl=en

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=zekitez.com.satellitedirector&hl=en

Whether the Dishpointer guy simply walked away, or is laying in a ditch somewhere (I sure hope not), I give props to him as he's the FIRST person to figure out how to make a dishpointer app, and I'm sure he was the impetus for all these much later free versions.

If it is so obviously 'abandonware' why are the thieving ba**ards still brazenly selling it in the Google Play store?
