LNBs - Which of these is best?

It's actually the other way around. The purpose of good stability is for narrow signal (DSNG low SR such as 3979/4232)
For 4dtv, any so-so stability should work without any problem for both 19510 and 29270.
If lnb does not work well with 4dtv muxes, likely it will have problem with DVB as well.

Well I guess numbers aren't everything.

The Eagle Aspen has a pixelation that shows on the screen every few minutes even on very strong signal channels.

I would guess that means it is not stable enough for the 4DTV. Might work ok on DVB signals, but not on DCII signals, so I guess this one is out, and a modification of the feed-horn is in order and back to the Norsat.

Thanks for the explanation ftarock!

I didn't have a technical explanation, and was just guessing as to the reason.

Guess it is time to toss that one in the trash.

Still hoping someone will post some signal comparisons that I mentioned previously.

Thanks,

Fred
