Local HD in Minneapolis Area

3 years ago I got rid of Directv because I couldn't get HD NBC or HD ABC. Is this still the case in the Minneapolis area? Please let me know. Any help would be greatly appreciated. If not, can anyone explain why?

Have you checked DirecTV's website?

If not yet available, they should be once the D11 sat is operational.

The new receivers are required for MPEG4 reception. H20, H21, HR20, HR21 are some of the models that will get the job done.

how far does the hd spot beam go? I'm in Canada (sub) 344 miles away. I get the minneapolis networks sd and am planning to switch to hd soon. Will I get the HD locals?
