Hey everyone...
As you know we are paying 5.99 for locals, but I was looking around the guide and I see there are local channels on channels 8000-8023. Do we really need to pay for locals??? I have Top 180 and reciever 311. Just want to save money.

You are only paying $5/month with an AT package. Those channels in the 8000 range are the actual channels, the ones you are paying for. Newer receivers can "map" the channels to the lower numbers such as 2, 4, etc. Without a subscription to local channels, they will not appear in the lower or upper ranges.
