losing channels over 248

Hey All,
Hope someone can help. I'm using a Rca drd435rh receiver. on at least 3 different occasions in the last month, I lose channels over 248. When I unplug the receiver for about a minute and plug it back in everything works fine. Also, once in a while the screen goes bllack and then retrieves info from the satellite.
If anyone knows what could be causing this, I'd appreciate some info.

What else is in your setup?

Switch?
PhaseIII or standard dish?
etc?

just a standard 18" round dish. Nothing else.

If you go 18" dish direct to the receiver, I would try testing another working receiver. If that works, its your receiver, if not, try replacing the LNB. If that doesn't work, try a new RG6 cable run.
