You had no clue what to do before the hurricane, during and now you are clueless even after. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20050920/ap_on_re_us/hurricane_katrina

You killed hundreds by not getting them out before the storm and after you wanted to kill more by subjecting them to the dieases found in the contaminated water. Youve fought the feds every step of the away and now you are still spewing ignorance. Thank god someone has convinced you to delay reinhabitating of the city. Is this negligence or stupidity?

Take A look at Jeb Bush on TV today and you see how a strong leader handles a situation like this.
Running to his big brother for declaration of a federal emergency...BEFORE Rita ever even came close to making landfall...even as a tropical storm?

Better safe than sorry.

They are already evacuating Galveston and parts of Houston, this 3 days before the storm is expected to hit.

Better to be safe is right. And if he didn't do that and things turned out bad the left would be screaming.

One question, have you EVER been through a hurricane?

Yeah, much better to wait until your constituents are dead or dying in roof high water before asking for federal assistance - then bitch that they are taking to long.

Nagin should resign but now he has a chance to line the pockets of his buds down there in one of the most corrupt state's in the union. He 'aint going nowhere... :no

Looks like Texas is the one who should be getting their $hit together anyway.

Ive read that the Govt is now placing assest directly in the hurricanes projected path. This is a major change of thinking from the past. But if its successful you are going to hear all of the democrats screaming why couldnt we have done this all along. And if it fails you'll hear screams of incompetence. IMO its simply rolling the dice. Pick your poison. You can be safe and late like we always have been in the past, or you can roll the dice and be early and dead in the water or you could get lucky.
