Minneapolis HD Locals Coverage

Can anyone tell me how far from Minneapolis-St. Paul Dish is able to offer HD Locals?? I found out today even though
they say HD locals are available to me...Directv can not service me with HD locals. I live about 100 miles from the Twin Cities.

Mpls HD is on CONUS 129 satellite so the whole country technically is covered

I know of people near Bemidji who have HD (Bemidji is still in the Mpls DMA)

I am in the Minneapolis DMA. I currently have the Minneapolis standard locals with Directv. I can't understand why their HD spot beam won't reach me.

on DirecTV the HD spots are tighter. Most of the northern part of the DMA can't get it either.

Dish right now has all HD CONUS. This might change but right now you'd be fine.

I live out in southwest minnesota, Balaton which is 16 miles south of marshall and receive the minneapolis locals fine. The 4 prime networks are in HD also if the network is in HD and KARE 11 is HD on the locals also.
