I have a Mitsubishi Medallion series 55" rear projection HDTV. It's got a great picture, but a problem it seems to ave, and has gotten progressively worse over the 5 years I've owned it, is tat the right side is overscanning. The left side is about right, hugging the edge, but the right side is almost an inch off the screen. I bought the longest extended warranty, but that is almost up. When I had a warranty tech come out to do the yearly cleaning and adjustment, I asked about it, and he said there was nothing that could be done. Is that true, or was he just blowing smoke up my kilt?

there is no reason why your display can not do 5 % overscan, sometimes I can get them down to 3%.

another option would be to use an extenal scaler, but this soln would cost you $1500 ish (ie DVDO VP50).

Where are you located ? Feel free to send me an email.
