Motorized Dish Question

I motorized my 38 inch ku-dish. On the DiSEqC motor my latitude position is 42, it says my Dish B setting is 23. My Dish B has a latitude position of 10 to 80. Is 23 the correct settig for Dish B. I used the USALS then turned the dish to my strongest satellite but with no luck. Thanks

What kind of motor do you have?

Best to find and store a few satellites BEFORE adding a motor!

If its a SG2100 motor for a latitude of 42 deg the dish elevation should be set to 23.5 deg.

Watchout as one side o the motor is marked in ELEVATION and the other side of the motor is marked for your LATITUDE.

I have the SG-2100 motor and Dish B does`nt have an elevation setting, it has the same latitude setting as the motor. So if the motor latitude is 42 would`nt Dish B also have to be an latitude setting not elevation? Thanks

Dish has to be set at 23.5 deg. This can be changed slightly to peak the signal but the motor elevation will be...........

On one side of the motor 42 deg LAT.

on the other side of the motor 48 deg ELEV.
