i got this idea from NEUTRON from a respone he gave to me in a "asking wife" thread in the pub foram. what is you favorite quote from a movie or tv show??

TRUE GRIT:

ned pepper: i call that bull talk for a one - eyed fatman.

rooster: fill your hands you son of a bitch!!

WKRP in cincinnati

herb's wife(dont remember her name)

" oh, i guess johnny wont be needing his butter" or something like that.

so whats your fave?????

Homer Simpson, regarding the Internet:

"I hear they have that on computers now!"

clint eastwood from one of the dirt harrys movies( i think?)
as he comes upon bikers , hells angles types he says to one
"you, you with the f**king hair"

same movie he goes into a bar to see the leader of some gang, he has a hot women with him. two black body gaurds say they will watch the girl while he sees the leader. clints response
"thats mighty white of you"

From the same movie...

Ted Striker: Surely you can't be serious.
Rumack: I am serious... and don't call me Shirley.

Close. It was "Surely you jest" followed by

"I never jest and don't call me shirley."

weren't there about a dozen variations of the "don't call me shirley" line in that movie?

The original "surely/shirley"quote is as originally stated.

Anyway....

Time the Enchanter: "So brave knights if you do DOUBT your courage come no further for DEATH awaits you all with big, nasty, pointy teeth!"
---------------
Arthur Carlson: "As God is my witness, I thought turkeys could fly."
---------------
From Close Encounters of the Third Kind (Paraphrased):
Brad Neary asking for help with homework: "Dad, do my problem for me."
Roy Neary: "I don't have to do problems for you. YOU do problems for you. That is why I gratuated so I don't have to do problems."

See ya
Tony

"This young man has had a very trying rookie season, with the litigation, the notoriety, his subsequent deportation to Canada and that country's refusal to accept him, I guess that's more than most 21-year-olds can handle. Number six, Ogie Oglethorpe."

The announcer in Slap Shot...actually you could list a hundred lines from that masterpiece.

either that or...

"Shove it in my ***" -Jenna Jameson in many of her movies

My favorite is from Mystery Alaska:

"No, I'm not okay! Do I look okay? The fu**** shot me! What the fu**-a** fu** of a bum-fu** sh**hole town is this? I make a business call. I give him my card. And the hick-a** fu**** shoots my foot off! Co**-fu**** sh**!"

LOL, best line ever!

Office Space:

"Looks like you've been missing a lot of work lately."
"I wouldn't say I've been *missing* it, Bob."

Many more throughout the whole movie..
