MSNBC live stream on Sling?

Does anyone know if a live stream for MSNBC is available on Sling?

My sister just got Sling and she asked me, but I know nothing about Sling. She's using it on a Roku (not sure which one) and said she found MSNBC, but it's not live. Said she would pay extra if a live stream is available.

MSNBC is available in the news add on pack for 5.00 more per month. It is live, but doesn't show commercials. Instead it shows a "Be right back" logo with music

Thanks, Andy! I'll let her know. She got rid of her Atlantic Broadband TV and got Sling and is happy with it except not having MSNBC live. She's big into news and politics, so a news pack is right up her alley.

The news package also has BBC News, RT, CCTV English, Euroworld, France 24, 2 Indian channels all in English. She will be in news heaven!! I have it for MSNBC and my mom lives in Europe so I like it for the Europe news channels

Can one subscribe a la carte to this news package, or would I need to be subbed to at least the $20/mo. Sling service? PS Vue lets you do that (just sub to an add-on without taking the base channel package).

To my knowledge, you have to have at least the $20/mo basic package, and to get MSNBC, you have to have the Sling Blue base package so you'd be paying at least $30/mo. However if you mainly want BBC and the other international news channels they are available in the News Orange Extra package, so it would be a total of $25/mo for Orange $20 plus News Extra $5.

Bummer. Guess I'll be waiting to see if the new DVR functions make Sling a better value than Vue once they go live. Thanks!
