OK, just got the new Directv DVR today, switching from a Tivo 35 hour system. And so far so good, I like the interactive features, and I really the like smaller channel display, Since I just got it today, I have not really tried out the record features. But as I mentioned earlier so far so good. A few minutes after setup I received a software upgrade. Just my thoughts on this receiver
If anyone is interested in a 35 Hour RCA Tivo or a Mpeg 2 HD Receiver let me know. The HD receiver is only six months old. I recently upgraded to the MPEG 4. I know you can get these at the store but there just sitting here boxed up collecting space at my house!
The Tivo is about 2-3 years old I believe?
