Hi, Yesterday,

I have reserved my FTA equipment.

Here is the list of what I bougth (all the price are in CDN):

1 Diamond Satellite Receiver at $210.00
1 33 inch Disk at $57.00
1 DSS LNBF at $35.00
1 SG-2100 Motor at $99.00
1 3 LNB mount at $12.50
1 20DB In line amplifier for far away satellite at $9.99
1 4x1 Diseq 20 Switch at $9.99
1 LNBF for FTA at $25.00
1 RS232 cable at $9.99
1 Prosonic 230-95 Satellite Finder at $22.00
1 100 feet RG6 coax at $12.99
4 Coax connector at $2.00

Big total : $583.70 all tax included!

So is it a fair price? I gave already $340.00l as a garantee.

thanks

Reg

Not sure who makes Diamond receiver, but price seems pretty high. Also, you don't knoe a amplifier if your run is only 100feet. Second, I would not waste my time with a satellite finder as it does nothing for KU satellite.

Hi,

Sorry it's a Digiwave Diamond is very similar as the CoolSat 4000 Pro.

The review so far are good.

thanks

Theres alot of people here that say that.. I dont know why, I use my satellite finder constantly, without it, I probably would never have found any satellites... its price is very high however, I bought mine for $7.

Bottom line is.. Satellite finders most definately work for Ku, they are a little tricky on Universal LNBFs but if you send 22kHz down the line then they work just fine.
