NASA tv is gone

I lost NASA tv... is it really gone (i.e. no signal) or is it just another one of those things where the signal's gone weak and my dish ain't big enough to see it?

http://www.nasa.gov/multimedia/nasatv/digital.html says it's only c band. I know I saw it before and it was Ku because that's all that my dish can pick up.

well I'm glad to hear its still there as I was going to set up a 18 in dish before the July 1st liftoff of the Shuttle as one of my neighbours trees is out in full bloom now and can't see it with the 1M motorized.

I've always assumed that NASA would be one of the last to go. (Public funding) Is this a good assumption?

By the way - Just about every other moment has been a "D'OH" moment for me lately.

I think there is an agreement with Dish & NASA that the channel will be FTA. You can get it on a non subscribed Dish box too

Well, if they ever do kill it on ku, I think it'll still be around on c band and on the internet...
