Why can I only see what's on NBA TV if I look at channel 402 in the programming guide? I only get NBA TV on channel 560, but whenever I want to see what is on, all it ever says on the onscreen guide is "NBA LEAGUE PASS". I have to view channel 402 in the guide to see what's on channel 560. Kinda irritating.

NBA League Pass has already started. It started around Oct 9th. The Free Preview runs from Nov. 1-7th and Nov. 8th is the last day to get the discounted price.
Senor Bildo is correct, 560 doesn't show the programming in the channel guide. He's also correct in that it's really annoying for NBA League Pass subscribers who don't also have the Sports Pak.
