In other series development news, Ashton Kutcher's production company, Katalyst, has landed another pilot for fall 2006, this time at NBC. Titled For Pete's Sake, the half-hour multi-cam project revolves around a group of people who continually find themselves reincarnated. Having not learned lessons from their past lives, the series' central cast will find itself upended every several episodes or so, providing new workplace settings and situations for each arc. Eric Gililland (That 70s Show) will write and exec produce, with Kutcher and Katalyst partners Jason Goldberg and Carey Burke exec producing too.

Meanwhile, ABC is back in business with ousted Commander-in-Chief showrunner Rod Lurie. The network has ordered a new drama from Lurie, about an 18-year-old boy who becomes mayor of his town. Titled Triumph, the pilot will be written and directed by Lurie, with Touchstone TV producing.
