I've got a 921. Can someone tell me what NBR means, i'm kinda new.

NBR= Name Based Recording. You probably won't be seeing it on a 921, but all new DVR's have it.

 

[Kaydigi]

It means name based recording. So you can record shows by name instead of time.

Lost normally airs EST @ 9 PM. Durring the summer ABC moved it 10 PM, the name based recording would automatically catch the time change and update your timers.

There is more to that but that's the biggest part.
