need equipment selection help

I am setting up a FTA setup in a remote location that has a good view of the southern sky. I have everything I need, except the receiver. I am curious what would be the best type of PC receiver to get. I need the ability to connect to this thing remotely so that I may watch tv (ofcoarse!) Blind scan would be nice too! Any thoughts?
