I live outside of the New Orleans, La., area and was wondering if anyone has info about or can point me to a link showing the spot beam coverage on DirectTV for the New Orleans locals.
If I live about 200 miles from New Orleans, could I still receive the spot beam? Would the signal be strong? I know I'd have to provide an address, but I've read where others have done just that and been successful.

Can anyone help?

Thanks.

New Orleans is on transponder 23 at the 119 satellite. Simply try to get a signal strength from your location in order to see if you can receive 23 at 119. There is no published spot beam map.
