I know there is a lot of talent here and I would like to tap someone's intellect with this question. My '98 Ford F-150's radio has about the lousiest reception possible. Whenever I drive someone else's car or truck, I find they easily pick up AM stations that I get a lot of static on in my truck (in the same areas). Someone suggested my alternator is not properly shielded and that is the reason for the static. Is there any little fixes I can do?

I had a 99 until Sept or Oct... It had pretty good reception as before I got Sirius I ended up listening to Talk Radio as the Fm around here Sucks Brine water...

That's pretty much the situation here. I listen to John Boy & Billy in the mornings on the way to work, but that is about the only FM I will listen to.

It is the original factory AM/FM/Cassette Stereo. I have thought about replacing it, but really didn't want to spend the $$$. So, can you get talk radio on Sirius? I wonder about getting the John Boy and Billy Show.
