make sure to scan "all" as these channels show $ but most of them are in the clear. I think there are 6 channels (all slates)

Now I just wich my crappy viewsat had a software blindscan that worked.

I second that, I also have a viewsat and emailed them asking thier support how it worked. No reply yet, since the I got a Coolsat.

I am thinking of getting another receiver and just use the Viewsat for G10.
The lack of a working blind scan really cripples the box.

Seem to have read that some of the new firmware has blind scan , but I do not own one , so I do not know .

My 2 fortec Ultras just keep on ticking ......... blind scan is very nice .
