Greetings!
What an interesting, frustrating, yet somehow "we got everything done" kind of week.
It started with the radio industry losing a very dedicated, kind, and pleasant on-air host from an area radio station where I used to work in the 1990's on weekends. While I've not kept in constant contact with the person whose passing inspired the blog, it brought up thoughts of the closeness and importance to me of our WION team, and memories of my travels up through the ranks in radio. I hesitated to write publicly about my thoughts, but, a very close friend read this Carlyle Comment and told me, "you have to publish that blog."
The goal is to honor a person who made an impression in my radio career. I hope this blog entry achieves that goal.
