Has anyone else noticed lockups since the new channel line-up today? Everything was fine for the past 2 months until this morning for me. It's locking up on channel aquisition and shorthly thereafter. At times it is possible to get about 30 seconds of audio. And no, it is not the antenna or signal strength. A brand new identical antenna produces the same results, while working perfectly on another jvc tuner.

It seems as if Sirius introduced new packets into the datastream that are confusing the software.

It is likely that there may be several issues that arise because of the channel lineup change-over at Sirius. For those of you that are not in the loop, Sirius, as we speak, is restructturing their entire line-up. It involves several stations leaving and several stations debuting. Besides the add and delete, they are also doing a major edit - most channels are being moved to new channels to accomodate their update vision for their programming.

Because these changes are so extensive, there is a chance that Recast may get confused. In most cases, the issues have been resolved by selecting 'Reload Channel Listing' from the 'Options' menu. It is the second selection from the top. This will clear out the channel listings currently cached by Recast and reload them when you restart the program.

If you are having lots of trouble, I would suggest selecting to reload the channels and then wait a couple of hours because there is always the possibility that Sirius is having issues with the transition.

Please post any other issues that you run into as well as any suggested fixes that you discover. Any Recast related problems we will look into immediately.
