Hello,
Newbie here.

I Have a simple question. Will the Dish Network Pro (500) Quad LNB or any Dish Pro equipment work with older recievers such as the 2800, 3900, and 4900? Is it backwards compatible?

I know the legacy equipment will not work with the new equipment such as 301 or 501 etc.

Any detailed input would be appreciated.

Thanks,

R

Uh, legacy LNBF's and switches will work with the new receivers. Legacy receivers will not work with DishPro (although most can be made to work by adding a DishPro adapter).

I'm not sure about the 2800, 3900, 4900, but it should be on their website.
