Looks like all they did was rename them, has any of the music itself changed? The new names sound like synonyms of the old ones.

It's kind of hard to believe that they can't seem to fit in just one 'world music' channel. I was kind of hoping to find something like this in the list...

I know that they have Reggae, Italian, and some other stuff but a nice ecclectic mix channel would surely be appreciated by a large number of people.

I pretty much only listen to 958 & 966 (latter especially). There's been no change, other than the name.

954 Songbook has changed... It was soft seventies music now it is a mix of tunes from the late sixties through today... Now it is a Rock AC format... Strobe has added a few current dance mixes which I think has not happen since around 2003, but those are the only changes I have noticed... CC

While many of the channels have new names and sound the same, this will not always be the case.

I am told that they will now be tweeking each channel one by one to better serve their customers (which is not us) so some channels may change a lot over time.

I keep meaning to listen to some of these channels, but it has been nearly a year now since I tuned into any of the Muzak or Sirius channels. If they all disappeared tomorrow, the only way I would know would be by seeing here on SatGuys.

I honestly have not tuned into them myself. And I only listen to 2 channels on Sirius, so i wouldnt notice they were gone as well. :)

I pretty much only listen to the Sirius stuff. I wish there was a "Sounds of the Season" type channel, though. The MusicChoice channel of the same name is great for any type of party throughout the year from Cinco de Mayo parties to Oktoberfest.
