Got new beta software tonight. 
Noticed a few things...
New network settings screen, looks a little cleaner but is still not pulling an IP address from my router. In order to get an IP I need to click Reset Connection, it then quickly grabs one However my Sling features still don't work... I have a feeling it could be that because the box is not getting an ip at bootup that it does not turn on the Slingbox function.
Another thing I noticed on the system info screen is there is now a spot for TV1 IR Address! I hope that's a sign of things to come.
MSNBC works now, although if you try scrolling down the screen, the entire screen moves down instead of just the web content. Whoops.
