I found this gem at Best Buy this weekend (after finding the 1/2 price deal on the HDTV in my sig).
It's a nice box that will record all the DVD (SD) formats (+/-/RAM/DL), as well as read all the Flash devices (SD/MMC, etc).
I haven't actually recorded anything yet, but played back some DVD's I have on the new set last nite, and the menus, etc are nice.
This device seems like it handles my needs (capturing DVR'd proggies, etc).
