Hello all, I'm new to FTA and I need help with the installation. I'm not exactly sure what angles of elevation I need. I'm not even sure which direction the dish should be facing. I have a Pansat 3500, 36" winegard dish, and SG2100 HH Motor. My zip is 07719. Are Galaxy 12 and SBS 6 my True South satellites? Thanks for your help.

SBS6 is your true south. That is at 74 degrees west

G12 is where the old G5 satellite is, and thats over at 125 degrees west...so someone near seattle would have that as their true south :)

I dont have the satellite program handy for the numbers, but hopefully someone gives you the angles :)

If I wanted to aim the dish at the IA5 satellite, do I use the Az(t) or the Az(m) value from the data? Thanks.

Thanks a lot to all of you for your help. I managed to get IA 5 but G3C is nowhere to be found. Any suggestions?

I would use the CCTV channels on G3C (KU Band) set up G3C use 1.2 Diseqc to nudge over to you get the signal quality. Then number and store the position.
