I saw that Salt Lake City was the lastest city they add HD Locals too. Has anyone heard what cities would be next??

HD LiL rollout is not going to necessarly be according to DMA size (ranking number).

A lot depends on how negoiations go with the respective afilliates within each DMA. I expect these negoiations have been going on for a while and probably some are even complete or Dish would never have posted the initial list of 50. It also depends on how soon Echostar X is available.

The above is based on information from Dish Network. My personal speculation is that the ratio of projected number of potential HD LiL subscribers in a given DMA versus expenses to procure them will effect things more than anything.

Has anyone seen a list of dates when all 50 of the locals will be added? I'm waiting on St. Louis locals.

Does anyone know how the contracts have gone in the past with sinclair markets? Two of the affiliates here are sinclair and the cable company is having trouble getting them on the system due to their fees (HD). I am in asheville NC and this is the Greenville Spartanburg DMA, the channels are WLOS ABC and FOX unsure of call sign. I hope Dish has no problems

They obviously aren't going only by DMA, since Salt lake is like 46 or something on the DMA list, but it is already uploaded.

how about Chattanooga i saw they was 88 on that list but i thought i saw a commerical about it the other day being in HD
