since spectrum dosen't support moca. and trying to diplex a moca signal can be a pain in the a and is not recomended. i noticed the hopper 3 has 2 ethernet ports. can a 4k joey be hooked up that way and still be discovered by the hopper???

Yes, you can run direct Ethernet to a Joey form the Hopper or you can use a WiFi adapter, as long as it's connected to the same Network as the Hopper
