no signal on 148 with 1000.2 lnb in

I just hooked up my 1000.2 with 148 on lnb in. I get signal from 119,110,129 but not on 148. When I hook up 148 just by itself to check for signal it is fine. What am I missing.

I just had 61.5 added to my setup of 110, 119 and 129 today. The installer installed a new switch to accomodate everything, even though on check switch tests before, it always had an empty slot. Maybe the switch is causing problems? Just a guess, but it may be a good place to start.

I'm running 148 into the input on our 1000.2 LNB without any problems. Prior to installing the 1000.2 I had been using a DishPro 34 switch and had a good signal off 148. As has been suggested a switch check may be all that is required or you could possibly have gotten a bad 1000.2 LNB.

I already tried check switch several times. The satellite is old single lnb legacy does that make any difference..

Legacy LNB is problem

Legacy LNB's don't work w/ the new equipment. You will need a new Dish Pro LNB to be compatible w/ new equipment.

Yup. That's definitely the problem. You must have DishPro, not legacy.
