No Starz HD on 2/1

I just got word from Dish Network that Starz HD will not be launching on Dish Network on February 1st. They hope to have Starz HD in the near future.

The website we saw is a work in progress and was not meant to be viewed by the public yet.

There are actually 3 HD movie channels DISH could add. StarzHd, The Movie Channel HD and Cinemax HD. We had them on VOOM. Why not on DISh, Charlie???

Hmm...Cinemax HD would be very nice at full rez and high bitrates...

grr..15 channels of HD when im at home in alabama, but parents have no hd-tv, and even if i brought mine home, or bought them one, they wouldnt spring for the hd package and the rented hs-stb.

thank goodness for Networks being unprotected...time to buy a new tv with a qam tuner.
